In the process of my work I have thematic concerns, but favor plurality over the continuation of one idea and exposing themes in a way that makes artworks focused on a material end result and coherent to viewers in the spaces they are exhibited. My use of mediae is fragmented, but planned according to the rationals and constraints of individual projects. I combine art with design practices without anthropocene functions, since I am not interested in the human body as a subject, but as an artefact of complementary matter. I deal with surfaces that give information about what’s under and inside of it. With new technologies, materialisation, artificial masses and intelligence, I can appeal to isolated and alien spaces. I am in search of ways of exhibiting self-standing independent artificial contexts and diverse haptical possibilities.
This residency is co-organised with the International Centre of Graphic Arts in Ljubljana
